HOW
Send me an email at Creative Wonders Art and include in the email a copy of the image you want done. It must NOT be a copyrighted image—it has to be your own.
In the email, tell me how you want it to look (check out all the art to your right), as best you can. Realize that there are literally thousands of ways I can do an image, so try to be as detailed as possible. If you decide to leave it up to me, say so. If I just receive an image with “what can you do to it”, I’m going to do my artistic best.
Some questions to think about:
- Do you want it to be an image with little tweaking to it? If so, what am I to tweak–lighting, zits, sunburns, stray hairs, eye color, etc…
- Or do you want it to appear as though an artist painted the image? Think something like the Mona Lisa–she posed for that picture and DaVinci painted her the way *he* saw her.
- Do you want a little bit of everything? Some tweaking, some artistic rendering, some manipulation, or a combination of all of the above?
- Do you trust me? Or more importantly, can you trust me? I will make every attempt to match whatever I do to your image, to the meaning, subject, and point of the image. That is, I won’t take a wedding photo and glam rock it (unless you want me to).
If you wish to contact me via phone, I will be happy to give you that number in a return email, just ask me for it. By phone is by far the easiest way to describe what you want done.
WHAT YOU MUST DO
Your emails act as an electronic contractual agreement between you and I. This is binding. What you must do for me is send me an email with your contact information in it, this is both for my records (come tax time) and more importantly, if I don’t have this information how am I to ship it to you? Your phone will only be used in the event of an emergency and I need to contact you quickly.
When you have decided that you wish for me to do your portraits, your email should include:
Your name, address, phone
What size you want the image(see HERE)
How you want the image printed (see printing section)
And when you would like the image by.
I will do my best to get your image done, printed, and mailed to you by your time frame. However, please give me at least 3 weeks for this to happen. I cannot guarantee postal mail, so if you feel as though your post office will take an awful long time to ship/receive, then give me longer.
Lastly, please give me your patience. It does take time to render a photo to the appropriate settings. I have references, I am not in this to hurt anyone. I don’t have time for that.
